Years Of Pilgrimage

Gen 47:8 And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old [art] thou?
Gen 47:9 And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage [are] an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

Jacob's answer sends a great signal to all of us as human beings. As stewards of the days given to us by God in this pilgrimage, it is our responsibility to make a life out of the years we spend as pilgrims.

We have hope of spending eternity with Jesus Christ as people who have received His life by accepting His work on Calvary's cross. For anyone reading this post who doesn't have this Hope, I pray that you open up to the Love of Jesus Christ that has been pursuing you all this while. May Great Grace locate you to respond to His Love. No need to get yourself in a "good state" before you feel worthy. You are already worthy of Christ's Love.
What we do with our days is very much important in showing how faithful and thankful we are to He who translated us into the Kingdom of His Son.

May we be zealous of good works and give our lives wholly to demonstrating His Love to all. Love is what abides at the end of this life. May our intents be love-driven for the world will have hope by the way we Love even in this perverse generation.

May this translate into our social, political, cultural, economic, family, etc lives. In all things may God be honoured through us.
How many days of life are you going to create out of your 365 days of pilgrimage in 2019?
Shalom!!!!!!
